Default Transmission ,gears, or trans brake?

I made my first passes with my new build.
03 Silverado,lq4 6.0, 218 jfr cam,80lb injectors, on3 kit with Fi 76mm etr-ho with 92 exhaust, Th400 and 342 gears. Summit 385 pump
Truck ran 11.46 with 2.0 60, 7.45 1/8, 116 mph qt.
Truck did not spool until 50 ft out off foot brake, then spun into 2nd then pulled hard thru 3rd until 1100 foot mark them ran out of fuel.
Thought I would get your opinionsite.

1. I am installing a Walbro 450 to solve fuel. Or?
2. Drop axle gear to 3.08 and use 2 step and t brake.
3. Install powerglide and leave 3.42 gears and use 2 step and brake.
I figure in too heavy for glide.
I am removing my 300 freakshow converter and installing a 258mm coan 3500.
Thankso for all and any input

Forget a glide. Its not running 8 or 7's. Its making good power but the 60' sucks! Gear that thing! Use a tire gear calculator to get closer. Very nice run considering

Are you running 93 octane or ethanol? Shouldn't be running out of fuel with 80lbs injectors on 93 with that turbo.

Converter is too tight if you can't spool at the line.

Z06ted: I agree on powerglide I just weigh to much too.
But I think I need less gear to get more use out of the engine while in boost.
Zero26t: I agree converter is too tight but that is off a foot brake I have a trans brake I can hook up.
I am running out of fuel for sure and iam in e85
Thank you for the replies

For instance when I went from 3.42 to 4.1 with a 32" tire I knocked off .64 in the 1/8th. That was stalling at 2800 with a built 4l60 3.06 1st gear. I know what you're thinking but it was actually faster down the track with more gear.

if the truck leaves on boost it will be hard to hook with a 2.48 1st gear and 3.42 gear that is a lot of torque multiplication. with the right t break+2 step launch id say it will run easy 10s with a 3.08 gear and 400th

I leave with a 2 step launch control with a 3.23 gear and 1.76 glide and my car is still hard to get hooked . get the launch worked out and power will not be an issue traction will be.
