yeah, i dont know how many cummins powered dodges ive seen with 350,000 plus miles on them and the original holset turbo. dont sound very half assed to me.

 

Most turbos have a 100k mile life, then they need rebuilt. My Grandpas Powerstroke has 390k on the stock turbo without a rebuild.

 

My twin turbos are off of a couple gleaner "L" series combines if your still looking. Just rebuilt them and changed the compressor housings

 

we did this year ago... truck is still around but to spool a "small" truck turbo it take a lot of cubes and then its still laggy. I think brad truck is a 427ci or something like, even loading it on the trans brake its about 3-3200 before your on boost.

 

when cruising on the highway mine starts to boost as soon as i hit the gas, just have to find the right housings
