Not really, pretty damn nice kit for the money, just had to do some minor spacing and extending in some spots, this could be due to frame differences over the years also? Can't beat how much you get for your money with the TPP or KB kits, good deals!

Yeah its going pretty good for me just working on it nights and on my lunch hours lol, should be a very fun truck after the 80e conversion! For the steam pipe conversion just pick up another front coolant cross over and bolt it on in the back and then use a brass tee to tee it in to the ruber hose going to the front cross over. If the heads are newer like his were and have those small plugs pressed in to the head just drill a small hole in them and screw a wood screw in to in, then use a small slide hammer or the back end of a nail hammer to tap them out.

Well I'm hoping to have it fired up tonight, depends on heater hose situation though, trying to determine the best way to route them and keep them away from the heat, got the ls6 valley cover, intake, radiator, e-fans done and also got all the vacuum lines ran along with the MAF wires extended.... getting close, i'll post some more pics tomorrow!

Just extend the hoses by a foot or so.
I remove them at the water pump. Get 5/8heater hose male unions.
Add a foot it so. Reattach and route between valve cover and intake.
Maf wires. Just un loom them back towards the PCM tell they reach the new maf location. Thus way the wires are not cut.

I'm going to extend them i just don't like when it has a bunch if hose clamps at the unions and then more clamps a foot away, i'm going to extend the whole hose so is has no unions, on the 03 and up heater hoses you can cut that plastic collar and attach another hose there at the factory tee and not have to have unions, as for the maf i didn't want to peal it back out of the engine harness so i grabbed a maf harness out of a junk engine harness i had laying around and soldered the two together to make an extension, it tucks down nicely under the e-fans....

Well she is a runner! Got it 90% of the way done last night, just a few little odds and ends left... Gotta get the exhaust done too and then we can work on the 2 Bar SD tune! So far so good no leaks or anything! Working on his gauges, gonna go all AEM gauges in my truck and put my cobalt FP gauge in his, we just threw a denali cluster in there too!
