Torque converter options
#11
I have the billet 2 piece stall it is rebuild able and a triple disc. @ 2800. I was going to go 3000 or 3200 but was talked out of it. I have 600rwhp in a 5.3 6l80e drives great but still playing with tune to reduce the effort to get it to move. I can increase idle but I think I can do better then that. And I have a 2 step for launch anyways. Turbo is a 76/75 so not as strong down low as my old turbo but comes alive at 3200rpm.

Not sure what engine you've got but when my 5100 lb 4x4 truck had a 5.3 turbo and 3k stall it was lazy off the line...until you nailed it lol. When I blew the 5.3 (tune) and did a 6.0 had it tightened to 2600 and it drove like normal. I'm thinking you may be happy with a 2800-3200 if it's a 10.5 inch. I would talk to the manufacturers and give them your setup. Mine was Precision triple disk and they took my converter back and gave me another size when I was't happy and even restalled the new one at no charge as I recall. Great customer service at that time. Still have it in storage. Oh didn't answer your question. DO A STALL!

Motor is a bone stock 4.8 lol. Just doing small changes to see what differences they make.
So right now truck is bone stock everything with a turbo and fuel upgrade. Next mod will be converter and trans.
