I upgrade my turbo to a bw s400 with the forged 82mm wheel and the larger 96mm turbine, and at the same time upgrade the downpipe to 5". I wanted the wastegate tied back into the downpipe and had the guy that made my turbo pipes do this as well. As usually he did an awesome job (Walker Performance in Birmingham). I also got a 5" cutout for it and had him tie into my current exhaust after the cutout. I dont have the cutout valve yet, but should in a couple weeks, so for right now its just blocked off.
Had to trim the fender well a little bit...
This turbo is going to be insane...for some reason my meth isnt working, so I need to get that fixed before I really lean on it, but spool does not seem to be an issue with the bigger turbine. I also pressure tested my intake pipes (first time) and am probably going to eat my words about blow off valves since both of mine leak...

It actually has a surprising amount of clearance. The tightest part is actually the 4" part at the torsion bar crossmember. I had him crush the pipe to create some space between the body and that crossmember.
No plans to make it all 5", it will stay like it is....I like the idea of limiting power output with the cutout closed (as big of a limitation as 4" could be...) and it is surprisingly quiet with this setup.
