Default Tell me about my parts.

I bought a kit 90% complete. I need oiling and to make the exhaust and intercooler tubing work. It was in a car. My plan is to make it to 12-15 psi this year on a stock 4.8 or 5.3.

What is the max boost you see economical out of this turbo, it is also 3" piping and a 4" intercooler.

" Tell me about my parts"
Ok I will tell you the the piping and welds look like hammered dog **** . Seriously that's **** poor workmanship .

I guarantee you bought that from a camaro that was on Craigslist , didn't you ???

And damn those pics are big whoa !

Ok , are you planning on redoing the piping ?

That's a 70mm ? If so should be fine for a 5.3 .

I will resize the pics when on my computer.

The parts weren't on. A Camaro as far as I know. Thought it wdoesn't workruck or some kind.

76mm. The waste gate blow off will be redone and professionally welded since it is stainless. The blow off doesn't look pretty but will probably leave it alone unless something happen. I might put a teacher on it just in case, haha.

Is a/r "air ratio"? Is that exhaust vs. Pressure wheel size?

You post those pics and honestly want answers about what we see??

My honest opinion is that there's no way in hell I'd run any of that piping. The master power turbo is decent if it hasn't been abused. What size gate and blow off is that? Probably not sized right if I had to guess.

Those welds look horrid... I'd be willing to bet there's already leaks there. And not only are the pics massive, they're blurry as ****.... Try the pics again after a few drinks and the shakes settle down.

Someone didn't do their homework beforehand Lol. I hope it all works out.

Keep the turbo if it works. Buy a new hot and cold side piping kit from KB racing or trick on here. Either of those forum members will get you going down the right path.

I hope you got a killer deal on that stuff because your still a good 3 grand away.

I see you're newer here, search for all threads started by the OP. Some good reading right there a couple years ago.
