Default tc78 1.52

any body run the 1.32 or 1.52 A/R housings that turbonetics makes for the tc78? i'm thinking about going to the 1.52 being that i went to the 6.0 from the 5.3.

Wat? Is this a stock 6.0?? If not you No you won't need it.

What size is the turbine. Thats the most important part

It's a 68mm the f1-68. It falls on its face around 5200 or so.

It's stock for the moment. Soon it will have cam and heads.

You need a bigger turbine. The bigger housing will just make it laggy.

Big turbine/small housing > small turbine/big housing

I plan to go twins later. I just don't have the budget to do it right now. This is just to get me over for a while.

Hurricane benita will only spin so much air yep bigger turbine, that'll take days to do anything if you had the bigger housing. and if you do that you might as well go with there new 75mm turbo (i think thats the size) they got out. or just a BW.

That math doesn't add up at all. I already have a tc78 on my truck. $300 for A housing is way less than most of the bigger turbos on the market.

Because you'd need a bigger wheel also. im not saying buy another turbo just an opinion my friend.
