The 6 speeds seem to be holding up pretty good. I have seen numerous 600 to 700rwhp vettes run them and hold up. I know a truck is a lot heavier but you wont see to many 700rwhp 4l60s stay together in any vehicle. I am typically not too hard on my vehicles so I might not be the best test case. My old 04 silverado with a 4l60e and g80 held up until the day I sold it with 130k supercharged miles and simular power of the avalanche.

Very cool ride. I'd be curious to see what its capable of at the track. Its begging you for some headers and a smaller pulley

How are you liking the Roush kit thus far? It seems like a very well rounded setup. I'm weighing my options for my 04' and this is in the mix.

My Roush kit has worked flawless. The only issue I had was I ended up gernading the G80. 6000 pounds, 33s and barking 2nd killed the stock limited slip. I now have a trutrac that works like a champ. You cant go wrong with any of the tvs setups. I had a Mp112 Maggie on my 04 Silverado and it worked great with no issues also. The tvs makes a little more power and is quiter than my Maggie but both drive virtually stock with minimal maintenance.
