Default "Suped" up the Avalanche

I installed a Roush tvs 1900 on my 2012 Avalanche this weekend. I spent about two months putting together parts and I finally put it in. The only snag which a PT member informed me of ahead of time is the 2010 up trucks and suvs have a 1 piece fuel rail and the kit is made for a 3 piece fuel rail. This would have been bad to figure out the day of the install so thanks Dyno Dan for the heads up. Dyno Dan also found a map connector pig tail that I used to allow for only one factory wire to be cut for the install. I wanted more than 7 to 8 lbs of boost so I went ahead and put on a powerbond 10% overdrive crank pulley. The pulley is a 8 rib but works like a champ on my 6 rib accys. My tuner would not dyno the truck because he has had several trucks throw a drive shaft so he street tuned it for me. He said based on the air it was moving he estimated 450 to 470rwhp. He has done thousands of tunes so the estimate should be pretty close. I do not have a boost gauge yet but he said it was 9lbs plus.

The heavy behemoth runs pretty good it hits second hard and actually chirps third with my 33" terra grapplers. I tried a 4wd launch and it spins the front tires I guess I will have to take it to the track one day just for fun.

Here is the picture of how the belt sits on the powerbond balancer pulley.

Performance wise nothing but a catback and drop in k&n. I am itching to do 4:10s instead of my 3:42s but the tvs has made up for a lot of my lack of power issue. My rationale for the tvs was if I could find a decent deal on one it would cost about the same as gears a good set of headers and a cam and the tvs would out perform the bolt ons and should get better mileage.

Apperance wise I have a 2.5" leveling kit on the front with a 1.5" spacer on the rear with 305/55/20 terra grapplers. My next project is to put some helper bags in the back.

Looks like a fun truck man! Should be fun to surprise some people from stop lights.

Nice! Might want to go ahead and start saving for an 80e. With the torque of that blower, a heavy truck, and chirping shifts your 60e is not going to last long.

The 6L80 isn't as strong as the 4L80. Is it that much of an upgrade over the 4L60?
