suggestions on smoke

Default suggestions on smoke

engine fresh .after local machine shop screwed me over.problem At cold start up smokes after idling for 3 minutes smokes out of tail pipe .UNLESS AT start up I bring idle up to1800-2000 til engine temperature reach 180 then no smoke .afr open loop 13.2-13.6 ,number 6 feed to turbo no restrictor,number 10 drain .both valve covers vented with filters. suggestion any one?

are you sure it's smoke and not moisture? what color is the smoke? white=coolant. blue=oil.

blue .only smokes in the a.m. just odd if I bring idle up .til 180 deg no smoke .800 miles on fresh engine .rest of day fine. smokes only if it sits for more than 4-5 hrs

rings expand with heat. what does your PCV system look like?

Almost sounds like valve seals.
After sitting awhile oil getting past valves.
-6 is a large oil feed line. But shouldn't be the problem.

my experience with valve seals smoke idle all the time.once truck warms no more smoke 10w30 valvoline

Default oil feed

called precision turbo they said 76/75. i should be running -4 not -6 .anybody with 76/75 pt .running -4??
