I am currently looking for a unmolested truck to build a simular system on it. The side pipes may turn out to be an option but I can't say at this point.

So are you running one of our systems? Do you have a snorkle kit?

Yes, I am currently running one of your systems. GT67 on a forged 5.7L. I am not running the snorkel kit, personally feel it to be an afterthought and kinda mickey mouse.

I understand your reasoning but it works really well on the Chevy trucks. The snorke is short enough so as not to hurt throttle response and it obviously keeps the filter out of the elements.

I don't think a pic of a properly placed snorkle kit has ever been posted...care to enlighten us. I have the snorkle in the attic, but like others I opted not to install.

Here's a pic of the snorkle. It just jumps over the frame and up into the area between the bedside and inner bed panel. Simple yet very effective.
