dont qoute me buttt....
I think the sts pump is a return pump, not a pressure pump. I would assume the turbo is fed via engine oil pressure and then returned low pressure via that pump.

You are correct; it is a non-positive displacement return pump....

I would put it in the pan myself as it is much better to look at and makes for a cleaner install. I don't like the oil cap thing as it looks cheap.

Thats why I have a -8 aluminum bung being welded on my oil pan as we speak, should have it back tomorrow

hahahah, hey Cody, what kindof line are you goin to run?
I want to get a bung welded in.. but i dont know what size line to get or what threads it will be..
maybe im making this more confusing than it really is?

stock sts rubber line is 3/8ths in AN sizes that equals a -8. Im going to run a swivel 90* fitting off the bung to a one ofot piece of ss line then to hard line down teh framerail like I said in the other thread.

Slowec, Im not sure how I can get it installed and hurry the process up anymore when I dont ahve a TIG welder otherwise I would weld the damn thing myself. My **** is costing alot, just a damn -8 90* fitting runs 22 bucks
