happens more often than is posted here. Once the pump fails you have a dead duck.

Still waiting to hear from Billy who is probably waiting to hear from STS. The new STS pump is better than previous. Brass gears and better bearings.

I did speak to Billy this a.m. He seemed to think the pump is on its last leg with the noise its making but still working enough to keep the buzzer off. Maybe bearings are going and got in a bind overheating the circuit and blowing the fuse. Hella bind to blow the fuse the way it did. Also curious whether I can take the pump apart to see in any parts came loose and possibly migrated up the return line.

I'm going to check turbo and piping this evening. Any recommendations for cleaning solvents...good soap and water or something more serious?

My pump is the stock pump and at least 2 years old. Billy said that the stock pump will work with 10psi but recommended that the larger pump (don't know the specs) would be easier on the turbo. I trust Billy's recommendation....just didn't have the $$ to upgrade the pump at the time of the install.

STS says the stock pump will work up to 18psi but I have to think that you'd be spinning the crap out of the turbo for 18 psi and I'd personally like to move a bit more oil thru the bearings.

More at 11:00!

Dude what a crock, I've left them 4 messages to their Tech guy and no response. Anyways, yeah Hopefully I'll come out there soon enough. I am very happy with my STS, it's stock when I want it and flat out stupid when I feel like being stupid. no complaints.

Well...got everything cleaned up last night. Man, what a PITA!!! Oil in the cold side from turbo to intake. I/C wasn't fun either. The oil that was dripping at the front was from the BOV so at least that was a relief. Went ahead and cut the Dynomax off after the turbo because it was burping oil and had a broken hanger. Turbo bearings were good.

Figure there was about 1/4 a quart on the cold side. Probably burned another 1/4 out the the back. Re-checked all the wiring and replaced the fuse holder. Pulled the WB and cleaned it off...need to re-cal later. Fired it up last night and everything seemed to be running okay. No buzzers or smoke.

Billy has a new STS pump on the way and should be here early next week.

Parke...you're revenue! That's why they call you back. Me and Spoolin aren't so we get hind tit!

Left a message everyday this week...still nothing, I remember when I first bought my kit almost 2 years ago their customer service was top notch...now I'm not so sure anymore. Glad you got all the oil taken care of...I noticed that my BOV has a little oil around the exhaust ports...makes me wonder if I'm doing a little burning too or if my crankcase evac system which leads back into my intake is sending oil back to the BOV when I get off the throttle...your making me think I need to tear into it too.
