As far as the pipe after the turbo I had a tailpipe made up out of 3" stainless and wish I would have went with 3.5" or bigger.
I did notice a decrease in flow with the 3" and plan on changing it when time and money permit.
Before that I was just running out the STS after turbo pipe.
My custom tailpipe follows the same path that the stocker did, I wanted a stock look to it.
I got my Walbro pump from Allen Nelson with the harness.

buy a 3" y and put you a 3" e cutout on one side of it and the 3" tail pipe on the other side...put the y right on the short pipe coming off the turbo..you can feel a diffrence when opening the cutout verses it closed..i ran with it open 90% of the time cause it was too quiet closed going out the tailpipe.

What is the outlet size of the after turbo pipe? How does it clamp up? I havent gotten my kit yet so I cant go check it out.

I have a replacement peice in my garage right now, I'll go out and measure it up for you.

The pipe is 12-1/4" long. the end at the turbo outlet is 2.86" I.D.X3.0" O.D.,
the end that will mate to your tailpipe or what ever you go with is flared up to a 3-1/16" I.D.X3.23" O.D.

These were measured with a caliper so they are very close, a tape rule may have given you some bad #'s.

I am going to try and get some tubing together to make a 3"-4" transition into a 4" I.D. resonator I bought a while back, then into a dual 3" pipe out behind the passenger rear tire.
I want it quiet but not restricted in any way.

Oh ya, it clamps up with just an exhaust pipe clamp on mine.
Didn't want to weld it in case I need to get the tailpipe off for track use.

So the turbo exhaust outlet is 3"? So I could just use a 3" to 4" reducer and weld that to some 4" stainless and Im good correct?
Thanks man

Should be, just make sure you get all your ID and OD dimensions right when you order the materials. The pipe I have from STS is the new design but seems to be the same as the old pipe sizes.
I do have the STS base kit if that matters.
If you really want to be sure call STS and talk to Dave South, he will help you out.

This was recommended for mjhoward and looks good to me. I'll be ordering the cam Fri.
Have any of you had experience with electronic boost controllers? I want something easy to use and program. I just want to be able to adjust the boost in the cab with the touch of a few buttons. I dont need all the other features as I have boost, fuel, WB A/F gauge, etc.

So despite the outlet on the turbo itself being 3", you still think that doing a 3" to 4" reducer and then 4" tubing would be of any additional benefit?
