Default STS Meth Kit - Help

Well, the meth kit install instructions are a bit hazy for the STS kit.

We have accomplished pretty much everything it asks but I am curious if anyone else with an SS out there and this kit could chime in.

I need to tap into a fuel injector wire and I am not 100% sure which one.
I also need to tap into the green wire *I assume* that runs back to the EBC. I did connect the front portion of this wire up to a switch and mounted it on a custom made aluminum plate didn't like the glove box idea. I tried calling STS today but it was a bit late by the time I got started workin on it.

May sound like dumb questions guys but I want to make sure, 100% that the wires I tap into are correct. The instructions explain well what connects where, but are shady on the which wire is which side.

So if anyone with this setup can chime in I would certainly appreciate it.

Oh another quickie too. And don't make fun, the guage was free. A/F ratio guage what 02 sensor wire should I tap? - Yes I plan to swap it out with a guage that actually is useful in the future, for now, it's a pretty dance of lights guage.

Default Green Wire

Ok one problem solved. For future reference when using the Electronic Boost Controller in conjuction with the STS Methanol Kit. The extra green wire in the wire loom that runs back to the EBC is to be used to connect to the EBC and as the SIGNAL wire for the switch that you mount inside the vehicle. The Methanol kit has a Green wire near the MAP sensor vaccum tube end that taps into this same wire. This way the Meth kit has to be armed and the EBC has to be set in high for it to operate.

Next issue, the injector wire *STS told me* has to be tapped into any ground injector wire to get the signal pulse. If anyone here has any idea on the 6.0s what wire would be best to tap into please let me know. As far as I can see, I just tap into the ground wire from the most accessable injector. SO I would tap into it right where the connector plugs into the injector. Sound right anyone?

Thanks for the help, and maybe this info can help others along the way.

Use one of the O2 sensors before the CAT. I used the drivers side with a splice cable from casperselectronics search for 'a/f pigtail' and pick the correct connector. Most of there stuff can be purchased from several vendors, like Summit. My truck used the flat O2 plug.

That's what I would do. The ground is the one of the multi-colored wires (the pinks are all 12v power).

Appreciate it, I went down to the Chevy House and talked to one of the mechanics. We looked up the service manuals online and sure enough there it was. The connector that attaches to each injector has two wires that run from it. One is pink the other is green. The pink wire is constant 12V power supply and the green wire is the ground/PCM signal command wire. So looks like I'll be tapping into it. As for the A/F guage...sheesh, don't think I'll buy a new plug, because I plan to replace the guage with a wideband soon enough. It's just a temporary pretty fix But thanks for the wire location advice and the references.

Erik, hey man how's it been going? I need to get with you offline sometime and see how your project with the twins is going, or well have you finished it already? *Looking at sig* o.O

Well, everything works fine now, but I am concerned about the injectors STS sent me. I have been trying to reach someone all day to get the specs on them so we can tune it correctly.

The bubble wrap I got them in said 44# written in permanent marker. I assume they are Bosch 44# injectors. Can anyone help shed some light on this? -Getting LTFT lean bank DTCs in EFI Live. Trying to troubleshoot.
