Hey Guys,

My STS kit is sceduled to be delivered today and wanted to get some feedback if there is anything I should know before installing or having someone do it. I live around the Baltimore area if anyone knows of a good shop to use, feel free to chime in. I upgarded to the Gt67, #44 injectors and the Nelson tune. Do I have to contact nelson to give them any specs or will they call me. Any info would be very helpful.

did you get the nelson tune through STS or did you call Nelson performance yourself?

The kit is very easy you mostlikely could do it yourself.....

 

yes it is very easy, on a scale of 1-10 i would give it like a 3. Depending on your abilities though it will probably take more then the 4-6 hours that they claim to install.

 

I paid for the tune through STS but only had a minute to thumb through the box before I had to leave for work. So you guys think it might be in the box somewhere?

No, the tune won't be in the box with the kit. You will need to get in touch with Nelson and give them your specs, etc. then they will send you the tune. You think STS would get in touch with them for you (i'm assuming you got the tune through STS), but they didn't for me and I had to do it all myself which added like another week to the project.

But, I really dont know why you guys with SUV's try to make them fast....

That's what I thought theredone2b29, that they would have Nelson call me the day I bought the kit. I Spoke to Dave South over there and he is getting me back on track and very helpful but I still lost another week before I will get the tune shipped. Another week of waiting is killing me, the kit looks so nice sitting in the box.

 

OK, its tomorrow....is it done?
