The McMaster part number is.....5915T19 (High-Flow Blended Polypropylene/Rubber Duct Hose) page 190 of the on-line catalog .
The tubing is starting to relax a little and kink, the opening is not any smaller than what it was sucking through before but it needs some modifications to be better.
I'm making a shorter velocity stack out of aluminum to replace the cheap plastic adapter for dust collection systems.
I just got back from a couple 50-120mph runs and it seems to be ok for now.
Wish I had a cold saw and a damm welder, I'd have been done a while ago.

I like the sig KBracing96!!! LOL , I had the snorkel kit on my truck for every day driving and talked to rick squires and was told on high boost it resticts air flow and could suck oil from the compressor. He told me to put as big of a filter i can right on the turbo and just put the sock on when the weather is bad. with the snorkel on i had trouble acheiving 10 psi. but for daily driving and even underneath car washes the snorkel worked great and that was all at 5 psi. i bought a K+N Xstream cone filter(rx-4730) and the truck runs great and seems to spool quicker with it.

I think I have too much crap going on at once and not enough time to get it all done in order, its turning out to be like a house project.
Sometimes it depends on other things (wife) and the weather on what gets done first and how much time you can spend working on it.
I just spent an hour+ sawzalling/grinding off a couple of flanges from a stainless 4" diameter 90 degree bend, and the damm thing would not fit where I needed to use it.
Wanted to see if it would help me ruduce the hose kinks.
Another hour wasted on **** that did not work/fit.
Live and learn I guess.

I wish the turbo pointed the other way, it would be easier to run the hose without kinking it.
You never know exactly how things will fit until you put all the peices together and do a test fit.
I made two brackets that hold the air box in place to the sheet metal flange under the wheel well.
I only needed one, but I inversed the damm angle on the first one I made and had to make a second.
I kicked myself in the *** for that one too, spent 1.5 hours machining it up by hand on the CNC, glad I did'nt program it, I'd had to do that all over too.

I noticed about a 100 degree drop in EGT's when I took off my snorkle and put on a very big 14" K&N on the turbo. I also noticed the difference in sound with the filter relocation. I only had a 3" snorkle tube but with a 4" tube you probable will not see too much restriction.

I may be re-tinking the use of the stock air bow section and go with two 3" K+Ns or a big *** single like your talking about. Have to do the layout and see what will really fit way up in the fenderwell.

This may work better.
#22k53 McMastercarr 4" Y fitting.
http://www.mcmaster.com/
Dual K+N Rc-5148 filters.

More flow, and it will fit all the way up into the side of the space betwwen the box and fenderwell.
