Default stock catback with FI

Has anyone done this and are they so restrictive that it can cause problems? Also under boost does the exhaust sound terrible, like a big hissing sound?

Some of the new stock catbacks I've heard of have 3.5" piping.I think tbss sound real nice stock. This would be with LT's and ORY.

I'm getting old! and my wifes 2007 Tahoe sounds good to me.My truck is not loud now with the corsa and magnaflows but it is dumped under the bed.So I might just need to add a tailpipe ultimately.

Are you against a cut out? seems like it would be a great alternative, and no potential loss of power

I'm running LT's with the stock exhaust piping and a 22" magnaflow 3" si/so. Sounds good, but a tad loud for my taste. No hissing sound. Probably holding back a few hp though.

I love the noise and the silence what I did was Borla XR-1 then E-cutout and mounted a 2010 stock ram muffler where spare tire goes. You do loose a little power but its fun when you get on it you dont draw attention for miles around it just goes.

The only thing that comes to mind, is some really old Parish videos, with a single turbo free rev with the stock exhaust. there may be some driving videos there as well?

Do you run it wot to your shift points through the stock muffler? If so,does it sound like an air hose hissing?

Kind of but not bad. You can see on your wideband the difference I tuned it open so when I close the e-cutout runs richer. open 11.6 afr close I see 11.2 afr.

Maybe not the best example to give, but here is a Whippled 408 thru stock exhaust. Once the truck passes the camera, you stop hearing the blower and start hearing the exhaust.
