Is this 100% certain? Because my truck has been getting worse every day I drive it just about. Quite a bit of misfires at idle from dropping too lean. I have to command 14.0:1 just to achieve 14.7. My tune was perfect a month ago.
Fuel lines are also loosing pressure when the truck has been off for a while. I can let it sit for an hour and a half and it'll take 2-3 seconds+ to crank vs firing right up normally.

 

Your truck needs a new FPR, that is the first indication that it is going, or is bad.

 

which would mean I would be buying a stock fuel pump when I don't need one.
That kinda sucks.

Yeah its BS, I have yet to find the part number for just the FPR for the 04.

you didn't answer my question though, do you still run the voltage booster, that you said you were using, in that thread? why "were" you running it at that time?

 

so besides the fuel pump install, what else would affect a fuel pressure drop like this? no one seems to have too many other ideas, besides guage malfunctioning....... which doesn't line up, because i've been showing lean on the o2's. and fuel pressure regulators...... which doesn't seem to be an option.

No, I am not running the booster. The booster was being tested on the STOCK PUMP. I am running the same exact set up as you for a fuel pump.

 

Dont you work for a dealership? Can one of the service techs look at it for you?
