Anyone have any cooling problems when stacking Tranny cooler and Intercooler in front of radiator?

 

Not that any if my customers have told me.

I run two oil coolers stacked. No problems here.

 

I have my maggie cooler in front of a 40k trans cooler without any issues, just try to keep a gap between the two if possible, if you're worried about them rubbing get something in there between the two, even a split rubber hose or something.

 

Not worried about rubbing, worried about proper cooling. Seems like there would be a reduction in air flow if the air has to go through a Tranny cooler, then a Oil cooler, Intercooler, then the radiator.

 

Intercooler should always be the first in the order as air needs to be colder then any of the fluids.

 

Ive noticed it getting warm when towing when intercooler heats up and is feeding rad and AC hot air...this was on a 90* day with AC on....was pulling 9000lbs

 

So long as you have good air flow and nothing is restricted you should be fine.... I saw a truck few weeks ago that had (front to back) an intercooler, trans cooler, aux power steering cooler, oil cooler, then of course condensor and radiator, guy said hes never overheated it...

 

I guess stacking a lot of coolers isn't a concern then. Thanks
