Yea, I would not do that just to spool the turbo. And Im trying to see how far this circle D 3200 does with the 3.73s. Im just going with the s480 anyway. 96mm 1.32 a/r.. Cause Im going to build a bigger cube later, and dont want to buy turbos twice. So Ill get creative if I have to, go with a bigger stall and smaller diameter converter.

damn, came back to what Kyle recommended too.

I have the setup in my sig and it is at full boost at 4500 RPMs. I would like it to come on a little sooner so this winter I am doing a spool valve. It still really isnt that bad, but when it comes on it is very nice.

Kyle can you shed some light to this????

"Few weeks back I had a conversation with Jose about expanding our S400 offerings to better fit every engine combination that our customers are bringing to us to get them a turbo for..... And today that is reality. Introducing the new 1.10 T6 turbine housing to fit the 96mm turbine of the S400. Now we have the ability to give you a quicker spooling unit that can still support big horsepower with the 96mm wheel. I asked for this to be done to give me what i feel is the Ideal turbine combination for 5.3 and less than maximum effort 6.0 builds.

Before, It took cutting off the downpipe flange in order to machine the housing to fit the 96 wheel then rewelding it on. Now, with the abilities of a 5 axis CNC we can accomplish this without cutting the flange off.

This also brings into play the ability to put ANY T4 housing on the 96mm turbine as well... want a pair of S400 Billet 80's for your 427 inch small block?? Now we can do that and have .90 T4 housings on the 96mm turbine wheel.

As far as pricing.... This option is half the price of doing a 92mm/T4 housing so not only will it handle more power, Its also more economical.

This option is available Immediately for delivery!! PM Me or Jose for pricing. "

most certainly, that will be my route... plus with the 6l can only help spool quicker.

Just call and talk to Jose he's very knowledgeable and will get you put up in the right turbo. Not sure why your going with a s480 when all you want to make is 800hp thou but what ever floats your boat.

I would agree that you probably don't need an s480, i have a s472 on my 6.0 and my full weight awd ss has trapped as fast as 128mph. The turbo is now out of steam but spools very fast and still makes good power to 6k

So who can I contact for a different housing?
