Default Spark Plug Condition @ 60k Radix 112 @7 Psi

So back in 2004 I installed my radix on my new 05 Z71 L33 @ 5k miles and over 65k I decide to look at a plug.

Amazingly the plugs gap calls for .040 and I measured .039, most likely a little grime involved.

The pic doesn't do the round pad justice.

All I can say is I am not changing them or the wires yet. I was happy to see the color too.

That plug doesn't look healthy, there's more to a plug then the gap

On my phone, it almost looks like specks from pre-det on that second pic. I'll have to look again later on my computer.

I'm on a 19" monitor and it looks like detonation marks to me too. Pics are a little fuzzy though.

Not the plugs to be running for boost.

Needs a cooler plug, I also prefer copper cores for boost due to heat dissipation.

Thanks, I was thinking I had bragging rights but............

I'm no pro tuner but can correct it in Hp Tuners if you have a suggestion.

Maybe a little richer @ WOT? If so tell me the screen and number to change. Or if you need a screen shot?

What do you say about it looking like that after 60k miles?

And last, plug suggestions are welcomed.

I run NGK BR6EF at .035" changed every 10k miles. Hasn't missed a beat. You could run the ngk TR6 protruded plug at .035" and be fine.
