Make me very happy
Got my 3.2" Magnacharger pulley, going down from a 3.4". I'm hoping this will give me 1.5-2lbs more boost, putting me at 7.5-8lbs? (from 6-7lbs)
How much more hp would that give me?
Thanks BlownChevy!

Hard to say bro. I say 20 hp max. Just ask Rick what happened when I pullied down. IAT's went through the roof and we could hardly run any timing. However, I went from a 3.4 to a 3.0.
It will be a noticable difference, just not sure how much. High IAT's are going to be the limiting factor. I gained 10hp with 1 degree of timing on the dyno.

i have ordered a 3.25 and nelson tune. only getting 14 deg timing wot on stock radix tune. hoping to get timing in low 20's with the tune
i'm hoping that if iat's are too high with 3.25, i can put my 3.4 back on and still get the benefit of the tune. i will talk to them tomorrow to finalize.
at 10hp per degree of timing i have alot to gain.

I do think that you can run more than timing than 14 deg with the 3.25 pulley, just not in the low 20's.
Good luck bro! Be sure to post results.

i'm going to do some logs tomorrow with a bud's autoenginuity scanner and
http://www.autoenginuity.com/
hopefully with be able to email logs to nelson before they ship my tune
i don't have a problem with a meth kit, i just like to keep things as simple as i can. actually the guy at nelson's said i would probably want meth with a 3.25.
we'll see how it goes. i have an otc scanner at work that can check everything except afr's so i keep an eye on things
there is a good thread in the tuning section on wot timing, not much over 20 on f/i with out meth.
you are probably correct
