Sad day...

Out of town with the truck, boat, and family... blew up 3-4 drum in trans. As we sat in the 100° heat waiting on a ride, wife and I decided to not have a modded daily driver/tow vehicle. So after the trans got fixed under warranty, everything was removed and I traded in the truck for a 2013 Silverado 2500 duramax. I will be selling a few parts here later... but I am going to keep the procharger for my 1949 international. Anyways, just wanted to share my story with you guys. I know quite a few of you guys have helped me thru the years while modding my truck. So thanks for the ride, it was good while it lasted!

Oh it was a locally built 60e with good hard parts. They thought it was too much pressure that wiped it out. It went BANG when it downshifted to 3rd. Still held 10 miles until I decided to pull off and check it out.

It really is quite impressive. I have never had anything like this. I like how it quietly gets with it. Where the old ride, well... everyone around you knew you were giving it a little gas. It rides tight but not rough, even with the 20's and load e tires.
