And the confirmation numbers off of the ones I got don't even show up. That is some BULLSHIT!!! I wished he would have used UPS instead.
I KNOW he sent it. The Post Office can look up the Conf. # and it says the weight and the day it was shipped, but that is IT.

I'm curious to know if he filled out the Reference option on the shipment that tells what the package is. I've seen threads before where someone got the box but the turbo was gone and there was a huge hole in the side of the box.
I never put anything in that reference. People at the post office can read those and if they are crooked and know what it is they'll fail to register it as delivered where they are.

Post office absolutely SUCKS *** for parcel deliveries.
Big Bird,
Are you seriously getting an 8.1L and adding forced induction.....then wanting to know how the gas milage is? Really? Your looking at single digit MPG around town before the blower/turbo are even on. If gas milage is an issue, niether the blower/turbo or the 8.1L is the right choice for you. I am not trying to be a smart ***....being very serious. It takes 2 gallons to start my truck, 2 more if the air is on when i start it.

Thank FRICKEN GOD, the rest of the kit came in the mail today, over 3 weeks late. Oh well, at least it is here, but it looks like I won't be able to do anything with it untill after christmas do to lack of time and severe lack of $$$$. DAMN the holidays.
Ok, so it looks like the EFiLive is off the list untill later next year. So what shold I do. You all mentioned the Nelson mail order tunes. How does all this work and whats the going price? do I have to take my truck to a dyno or what?

Alright, so I know I'm going to need a vacuum system, and I don't think the 8.1 has an external vacuum system, right? So is this what Tierod was talkin about earlier in the thread, tapping vacuum under the intake? how do I need to go about this? I don't rekon any 8.1 guys have any pics do you?

This is the man that got me started. And as far as going on the lowered dually, i think you will be okay, if you get the kit from STS, you might have to modify it to tuck everything a little closer and higher, but I am doing everything custom, and i think I'll have lenty of room.
