Nope never saw 58-62 psi. Stock pump showed 54 psi. Replaced entire drop in assembly with new Walbro GSS341. Still read 54 psi on Dakota Digital gauges. Maybe my sender is outa calibration. I have never seen anything but 54-55 psi.....

fuel return guys should idle at no less than 52-54psi. (so i just learned) and as you go up in MAP the pressure should increase, with boost you can see anywhere up to 68 psi, but most see 62 to 64. I beleive Brian and grip will say anywhere between 56 to 62 psi. I believe parish has two pumps dangling in the tank. LOL

You returnless guys...sorry, sucks. The gs in the tank should do well and my understanding is you should always see 58 unless you have a magnavolt as well.

So my question would be, even with the magnavolt putting extra volts to the pump to spin it faster, the FPR is still set at (X) anyone know what the FPR is set at? it cant be adjusted so I would think that know matter what size pump you have you are at the mercy of the FPR.
Brian, can you chime in on this and let us know what the parameters are for the fuel pressure, whats good and whats bad!!!
Thanks
Mark

Voltage boosters are supposed to increase pump output enough to "overwhelm" the FPR. That is, more fuel will get past the regulator because it won't be able to spill it fast enough to maintain a constant pressure. Hence, FP should rise(or at least not fall off) at the other end of the fuel line.

I was sent a MSD Boost-A-Pump with my STS kit. And 62 or 63# injectors to make up for the returnless system. I am not real sure how well it will work but we will find out next week when I put it on.

Hi I am a newb here, been trolling for a while but decided to register as I am more serious about modifying my LAC' now that my Ty is gone.

Forgot to add that you will have to disable/block off the in-tank FPR as well while you are working on the fuel module.

Well I put the magnavolt pump booster on today along with a 235 amp alt and a yellow top battery, No change in pump pressure. still drops down to 54psi at WOT. called magnason and the tech support said that he would talk to their engineers Monday and get back with me.
maybe one of these days I will figure it out

are you sure the power loss feeling is not the tc locking up on you. i guess unless you change a certain table the tc will lock up around 80 or 90. i've been having a power loss feeling myself and read about this a watch my tac today and when i felt the power loss i looked down and was going past 80 and my rpm's droped.
from what i understand the returnless style fuel system is suppose to hold a constant fuel pressure more so than return style. check with the car guys at ls1tech they've been dealing with it longer than us.

Mark- Did your injector duty cycle change at all with the Magnavolt?
