Great info Foose! It's about time someone got into the finer tuning of a turbocharged setup.

Good job, looks very similar to the test I did a few weeks ago, and similar results too. I should have some really good info next week after making a couple changes...

On the 5.3l? I don't know man, I'm all about some turbine flow but that's a big boy. Think of it like this, the much smaller billet PTE 7675 in a smaller .96 t4 will make 800 wheel with your 5.3l and have a ton of low-mid end to get that heavy truck moving. How much more then 800 wheel/ more turbo do you need?

I think that's more of a high stall/3000 pound car setup.

Great info Foose and thanks for the write up!

Kinda curious now as to how much different the numbers would be if it was before the T4 flange.

I know it will be overkill on my 5.3 but it will shine when I build a 408. And it is easyily upgradable if it ever becomes too small. Im just going to pick it up bc its a good deal on a good turbo and I can always sell it and get my money back.

I did in my "backpressure gauge" thread.
