Default lq4 with s475 idle video..01 blazer xtreme

Went out to the track friday night and was having the tune ironed out. The cleanest pass we had was a soft launch (rolling out and not wot under 80 feet out) , it developed an upper rpm miss, so i lifted, rolled back into it and same thing. ended up going 96mph in the 1/8th. lifting twice and with a 1.8 60 ft (wasnt worried about that)

I am glad FOOSE04 was there because in the burnout box on the first pass I hit 20 lbs of boost and limiter same time. No damage was found but he gave me some pointers later on.

Our upper rpm miss was due to the fact that the belt slung off, alternator nut backed off the pulley, and the idler pulley decided it wanted to jump ship and get the hell out of dodge. Issues are fixed and hoping to go out today to finish the tune up. Especially considering next weekend we are going to go to a track rental.

transmission is a 4l60e built by a local guy with 4l65e internals. Held 543 rwhp last year on the spray.

I know 60's in the right hands can be built well but at 20psi with that setup im guessing youll be 800 rwhp so idk if itll hold up lol. If it goes you should get a th400!

when it goes we are going powerglide. I kind of want to see what they limits are on this transmission before another is put in. I have a feeling since we want it to blow that it may not break. I sort of figure it might be ok due to being boosted instead of nitrous like last year. at 15, we should be around 750.

Good to see the truck back on the track. You guys will have it dialed in soon after a few more passes and that rigs going to roll out!
