Reinventing the rear-mount
#11
The most appealing aspect of going rear mount is the low cost IMO, but to keep with that perspective you would need a value minded turbo like a MP or Magnum. I say stay with one of those turbos and go with a front mount though. To answer your question, your choice in turbo size will dictate entirely how your power/boost comes on. Choose accordingly, I think a T76 P-trim with a .81a/r or smaller would work pretty well for you on a rear mount. I have no experience with a rear mount though. Something worth looking into might be the benefit of keeping the exhaust at 2.5" all the way to the flange. I would probably do that and go back with stock manifolds. Selling your exhaust setup would offset alot of your expenses

Fairly cheap but must be well thought out. Make sure you run a very good return pump, exa pumps are killer, -10 return lines!, also run a 1 psi cracking check valve on the feed line to keep all of the top end engine oil from running in to the intake/exhaust housing when the vehicle is off and parked un-leveled. Try to keep the return pump lower than the turbos drain outlet and you could make a small reservoir like i did which allows the oil to puddle up and keeps the return pump lubed/primed better.
