The most appealing aspect of going rear mount is the low cost IMO, but to keep with that perspective you would need a value minded turbo like a MP or Magnum. I say stay with one of those turbos and go with a front mount though. To answer your question, your choice in turbo size will dictate entirely how your power/boost comes on. Choose accordingly, I think a T76 P-trim with a .81a/r or smaller would work pretty well for you on a rear mount. I have no experience with a rear mount though. Something worth looking into might be the benefit of keeping the exhaust at 2.5" all the way to the flange. I would probably do that and go back with stock manifolds. Selling your exhaust setup would offset alot of your expenses

Thanks for posting that thread Russ, i would have missed it.

Very cool, that vette/system is baddass.

I'd like to see someone try one of these turbos and make some sick power.

Fairly cheap but must be well thought out. Make sure you run a very good return pump, exa pumps are killer, -10 return lines!, also run a 1 psi cracking check valve on the feed line to keep all of the top end engine oil from running in to the intake/exhaust housing when the vehicle is off and parked un-leveled. Try to keep the return pump lower than the turbos drain outlet and you could make a small reservoir like i did which allows the oil to puddle up and keeps the return pump lubed/primed better.

Vent that resevoir with a 3/8" line and filter and your pump will thank you. No pulling vac anymore making the pump work harder, turning faster with less current draw.

89LS1FOXER- thanks for the pics man

If I try this set-up it would be with a Comp oil-less turbo.
