this may sound like a dumb idea. but what if you put a set of bov's on the manifold. that way when you let out the blower don't slow down so fast. kinda like on a turbo where it keeps the blades from stopping suddenly. all that extra air could escape.

In this vid the tensioner is clocked a little closer to the idler than it was before. I don't think there was belt interference before, the pulley alignment was definitely off. Running out of room to move things around. Not sure if a single tensioner can take up all the slack........maybe if there was a lot of wrap on it.

Could you clock the tension back (CCW) so that the minimum stop is more to the passenger side and a shorter belt?
Less tensioner travel available that way.

I don't think that would pass on the street.

Since no one is responding: That would only work if the blowers were driven by a one-way clutch, so that they could freewheel on coasting. What happens now is that it is the engine that is slowing the blowers so fast through the belt, not the air.

Is it in this thread that someone posted a link for a ratchet type pulley? (forgot what they are really called)

thanks for responding,

see i thought it was the blowers that were trying to slow the engine due to air pressure build up inside the manifold. i can't watch damn videos at work (streetfire.net only). when i got home i got to watch the vids and could see the belt doing its thing.
