Im going to give it some last trys with justin, hope we can get it right, he seems to think it might be that my maf is being fooled (SEE PICTURES)

He says my maf is reading about 19 psi of boost.. but im only doing about 13, so its putting in way more gas and pulling timing. He told me to rotate my MAF 90º and see if that changes anything...

P.S. My MAF was pushed off the housing while doing a highway pull, so i put that huge zip tie around it to prevent it from happening again
Sorry I said stock but didn't clarify. Some have still floated the yellows and ZO6 cam with boost over 8 or so lbs. Some have not depending on rpm.

I was MAF and had all kinds of problems but mine is tucked in my 68 pickup. I am working on the SD tune right now and it sure makes a world of difference in mine. Again my cold piping had some bends in it around the MAF causing it to freak out. Alot of people still run teh MAF with the turbo.

Tuning is done via AutoCal...

I also noticed that 3rd gear, the truck just dies
Could be various things...maybe too rich on 3rd gear due to more load...or maybe ur iat's are goin high enough for the table to pull timing...unless they moved it.
Im still on MAF and is running great...its a bummer u dont have a good local tuner. Id have to agree with the majority here. U should learn to tune and that way ull have it dialed like U want it WHEN u want it.

You're on MAF at 20psi and 790rwhp? Aftermarket I assume? Draw through or blow through?

If possible i would like to stay on MAF, correct me if im wrong but some people have told me tune would be a little finer, and truck would have better idle, cold starts, etc. But right now, im just tired of my truck being this slow.

i would love to learn, but that involves another 700+ dlls for equipment, 3 weeks to get it over here, and then.. start learning
