Default Radix Question

Just a quick question... How many ponies am I giving up by not having headers with my radix on a 6.0?

I have a nelson tune, a Z06 cam and am running a 2.9 pully, but the truck still feels slugish compared to my wifes Tahoe w/a predator tune. I can't even get the tires to break loose.

25-30 with the longtubes.

What gears are in the Tahoe/Truck?
The Tahoe probably has 3.73's and you may have 3.42's. But the Radix should more than make up for that.
Sounds more like you still have a ton of TQ management in the tune.
Stock tranny?

Thats crazy. W/ 3.73's and my (3.10?) original pulley on my 5.3 i could smoke my 35's through first, and now w/ 4.56's i can light up all 4 or smoke into the beginning of second.

I took the truck to Allen last Sept, but nothing changed. The truck and the tahoe both have 3.73's. Allen said that he removed all the torque management on the stock 4l80e. I think that I may have to get into tuning it myself.

I'm no expert but there is definately something wrong. There is no way that tahoe should even remotely feel close to your truck. Good luck with it.

You should be able to light up the tires pretty easy, even with the 4L80e. I dont have long tubes and can sweep into first thru second and third.

I could light up the tires on my truck with 3.73 gears, a Radix w/ stock 3.7" pulley, and a heavy shell on the bed. And I just have a 4.8.
