Radix + Nitrous..outcome?

I would think you would need a full tube head because because usually the primaries on the shorties are 1 5/8. I am sure you will need a 1 3/4 for the flow you have. The JBA headers and MAC headers I have had used a 1 5/8 primary

the factory Y is also a little restrictive imo. If you just want to cool things a little go with a meth kit. I use the AlkyContol kit without issues. It won't cool things too much but the meth will add a little margin of safety.

I have run 35/50/and 75 shots thru my Radix with no noticible drop in IAT's. I have not heard of any of the other users on these boards ever report any IAT differences but you will make gobs more power without increasing IAT's if that counts. Spraying methanol didn't really drop IAT's all that much eaither

I run a 75 shot with my maggie and see no IAT differences....What I did was get with Rick from Trick turbos and he built me a cooler box that I can fill with ice water...I just got it installed and am getting ready to test it out...If it works well I may make it a chiller box where he taps your a/c...keeep the water temps at 60* or so

Couldn't have said it better myself. I am tuning a 6.0L SS with the radix and a 75 shot. He picked up a bunch of MPH and ET however had zero improvement in the IAT department (measured anyway) with any sized jet. The truck's kit is the same as the one I posted above.

The one thing to keep in mind with a Radix truck and spraying a dry shot is whether or not you have enough maf range. If you are anywhere near close to maxing the maf and you spray through it you will be running a risk of running it lean if you run on the same tune for nitrous as without the nitrous.

Nitrous oxide is more dense and has a boiling point of -129F and will boil as soon as it is injected. Physics says that it will cool the intake charge vs ambiant air. Maybe its because you guys run a radix and inject it before the compressor or after the IAT sensor is why you do not see any drop in IAT's?
