Default Radix newbie question about how much boost i'll be running...

the radix is on it's way thanks to brian

what size pulley is on the 5.3 setup?

how much boost will i be running wtih my current exhaust setup:

manifolds, h-pipe before the SLP high flow cats ( if that's what you wanna call them, they hardly exist) , true duals, glasspack mufflers, exiting in the rear.

how much boost will i be running with my new setup, that i will install once the radix is up, running etc...

pacesetters, no cats, true 2.5" duals with glasspacks...... out the back.

will i have to change pulley size to retain boost?

how conservative is the magnuson tune? i have hptuners... but dunno if i should go poking around in there.

3.4" I believe

7ish

high 6ish if the exhaust is really that much more free flowing.

yes but don't right away.

Don't poke around until you are 100% satisfied with the install of mag tune and charger. no problems. Then work from there...if you feel the need.

I believe the pulley size is 3.3 stock at least on mine it is. You should be around 7-71/2 lbs of boost. If the exhaust is a little more free flowing you will probably be around 7 1/2 lbs!!

The 5.3L comes with a 3.4 pulley. That should net you about 6.5-7 psi on a stock motor.

what tune is that? lol, i honestly have no idea what you're talking about. the radix is coming directly from magnuson, with a handheld tuner.

1-Summit truck + 1 Magnuson tune from handheld= alot of KR. Might of been a fluke, just check it out after you install it.I've never seen a mailorder/handheld get a tune spot on.

If there was any knock retard there was something wrong, we are often told our tunes are too soft. Our handheld tune is about 99.9% of the time exactly what the customer needs.
