I got my new alternator installed today, started up the truck and now the s/c is making a moaning noise that wasnt there before. Is it possible that the oil boiled with the heat of the alternator on fire? There are no black marks anywhere on the s/c to incidate that the flames touched it. I have about 75,000 miles on the s/c, and I know that I am supposed to change the oil after 100,000 miles. Any ideas?

Try again....if it errors out, hold down the control key and hit refresh.

 

sounds to me like your bypass is either stuck open or not working at all....Check the vacume line that goes to the actuator, make sure it is hooked up
