Radix kit - pulley alignment
#1
Sorry for the pics, they are off my camera phone. I noticed that the belt has slightly rubbed the bracket just under the Radix. I don't see any adjustments that can be made to that area. I thought maybe the alternator wasn't as far forward as it appeared it could go, but I didn't see an obvious way to adjust it.

I've double checked that everything (in the area) is tight. Is there anything else I can do to get the belt more forward on the smooth pulley?

If it touching the bracekt and the belt is running true, just gring the bracket. Making sure to remove enough materail to clear the belt but so much it weakens the bracket.
Just a guess though.
Hit blownchevy up he can help.

The kit is 100% as from the factory. Could it be backwards? Anything is possible. If it's ok just to "clearance" the bracket, I don't have a problem doing that. I just want to make sure that there isn't anything really wrong. I'm getting a squeak from the belt/pulleys and thought this might be the culprit.
