Default Radix Install on Silverado SS

I'm about 80% finished with a new Radix install. Two questions:

1. I have reconnected all of the electrical connections, but can't figure out where one goes. I can't seem to identify it even when I retrack the disconnects either. It is not the throttle control, MAP Sensor, MAF Sensor, Knock Sensor or EVAP solenoid. It comes out of the harness near the EVAP solenoid (drivers side near the fuel rails). It is a black connector with an orange gasket. Any idea what this is or where it goes? I can't figure it out for the life of me.

2. How does anyone properly torque the the bolt for the manifold assembly closest to the fire wall on the passenger side. I really am having a tough time getting a wrench on it. Do I need a special socket extension or adaptor? It is almost totallt blocked by the throttle body inlet to the blower.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Is it the connector for the alternator?

I used a 1/4" ratchet with an extension to torque all the intake bolts on mine. It's kinda tight back there so you might want to get a few different size extensions.

TPS or alternator plug(step 15 in link), see if any of the ones I mention here spark an idea.

yeah i was thinking alt plug, but mine has a black top and the connector is gray. If agreif doesn't help, post a pic up.

That bolt, yeah real son of a bitch. Those F-ers will break by the way. I put a angle adapter on a long extension. (1/4") and got to it. It was still a pain in the ***.

My alt plug is a black top with an orange gasket.

Dewey - Yours probably used to be orange but, is just dirty.

Thanks all. You nailed it - alternator. In terms of torquing the bolts, how important is it that I nail 89lbs. It seems with all the different extensions, I have no idea of the otrque even with atorque wrench. Seeing as how you are using 1/4 inch, I am guessing I don't need to be too exact?

Thanks again. You guys saved me a night of confusion.

I'd say it's pretty important. A lot of people who haven't torqued the bolts correctly end up with leaks, and then some are fine.

I used an inch pound torque wrench on all my intake bolts and made two passes working up to the final torque spec. The different extensions don't affect the torque setting.

LMAO make sure you don't shoot for "foot per". Get her close you'll be fine. The only worry is as XLR8NSS says, troubleshooting an issue later will suck if you have a leak. I PROMISE YOU, the first thing you will think of when you realize you need to pull that bitch back off is that F-ing rear bolt.
