Default radix 6l intake and cooler

iv still got the stock airbox so im difinatly looking into changing that anyone got any good feedback on different intakes with the radix?

also my air exchanger water pump quit so i was looking at getting a new one but the prices are outragous anywere iv found anyone got any good spots to find one?

i went to a forced induction shop and the guy there said when he installed these kits he changed the cooler out to one from a vette any ideas on a bigger cooler or the one he was refuring to

my truck is a 2003 gmc sierra 1500hd 6l with radix

I got a volant with a drop down ram air tube and I think it works great ...Keeps the heat out and cool outside air is scooped in from the tow hook. ~$400 is what I paid. Might be a good choice vs an open element k&n. Running stock heat exchanger. No idea about a pump bosch, meizer, .....

Cant really assist with the other stuff, but i had a K&N 77 Series before i got the radix, and its workin just fine.

Check out ford dealer for the Lightning pump. It is the same as the Radix kits. As far as CAI GM high performance tested Volant against Vara-ram and the Vara ram outperformed the volant at the track. I really like mine.

anyone run a the vara ram in snow ice road salt type weather or are you all in summer type climates... im from alberta canada so i was wondering how it would hold up with what my truck goes through..... anyone got pics?

I run it in Michigan with no problems. I will try to post a pic. I customized the grill area and that plastic piece that is missing in that picture for a much cleaner installed look.

on these vara rams i dont see any actual filter material that the air has to pass through or am i just missing somthing?
