Default Radix 112HH Installed - Antifreeze smell when hot

Ok, first of all, I had a shop install my kit, so I am not on top of what all I should check. I have put about 1000 miles on the truck since the Radix install, and when the truck is at full temp, I can smell antifreeze. It's not leaving spots in the driveway, and there are no obvious signs of anything leaking under the hood. The only thing I see is that if I remove the cap from the overflow tank for the intercooler, there is some antifreeze on the top of the tank, outside of the threads. Could I have a bad cap? Also, when I put the cap back on, should I be turning it until it clicks?

TIA!

Yes turn it until it clicks. With my recent trans change I spilled a bunch of antifreeze on the radiator core. I still get the smell too. Nothing leaking its just taking a long time to burn off the radiator I think.

Cool, I could see that happening easily. I'll just keep an eye on the fluid levels and make sure.

Thanks!

Thanks Brian, I'll let you know. With not seeing any fluids anywhere, I am leaning towards what KySilverado said....

I second the t-connector. Mine ended up over the exhaust and it didn't leak out enough to be noticeable in the system but I caught it with a drip on the connector. Just gave it a quarter turn and it went away.

Check the crossover tube. Mine leaks a minute amount there on the passenger side. I guess the o rings I put in it were a little off.

I have seen one IC core fail. small hole. That would be the last thing I would want to check.
