Default Radix 112HH + Dynatechs

Hey guys im running the magnacharger 112HH kit on my RCSB 5.3 sierra. Other then the magnacharger kit and a gibson cat back system the truck is pretty much stock. What im wondering is if i install a set of long tube dynatechs with cats will i need a tune immeadiately? I plan on doing some kind of intake and pullying down in the future and was hopeing to see the dyno only after that.

A custom tune will definitely help, with or without long tubes. With LT's, I noticed a much stronger top end, but a little loss of low end. You can get your lost low-end back by pullying down to regain the lost boost with the addition of LT's.

Wheatly, Nelson and Blackbear are all top notch tuners and sponsors on here, see their links over there ====>

If youre running the stock maggy tune then you will be fine since it is very rich, but you really should get a custom tune.

I understand i will need a custom tune to really get the power out of the radix and headers but i would like to have it tuned on a local dyno and dont want to have to pay for it several times. If just bolting them on caused me to loose low end power i would be disappointed.... Would it be a better idea to wait until i can afford headers, pully, intake and a tune all at once?

Your combination of additional mods will certainly benefit/shine with a custom tune and it would be best if you can wait to do this all at once and then finish it off with a custom tune. Around here a dyno tune runs $400 and any updates/changes for additional mods are $100 after original tune is purchased.

Im debating doing the 90mm j-tube and TB conversion with an intake and pullying down with some headers and a tune this summer. It looks like most people with the radix are using the airaid systems, any other sugestions for an intake or anyone selling a j-tube?
