How much boost do you want to produce?
Is the bottom end stock?
What size is the engine?

What's your setup? Mainly, displacement and exhaust setup. I'm running a 3.0" with catless LPP's and don't have any problems with IAT's, but also have the much larger Magnacharger CTS-V heat exchanger. I am at the end of the stock MAF's range too, so if I went with any more boost, I would have to go to a speed density tune.

I have 05 gmc Sierra vho 6.0 with , pacesetters headers, 3 inch dual exhaust no cats, radix mp112 with 2.8 , 60 lb inj. 90mm ls7 tb,flt level 6 trans with 2800 stall. I was just wondering if the heat from 2.8 pulley hurts more than it helps. Iats are 30-35 higher than ambient I'm in south Florida. I'm looking into getting larger hex , what's your dimensions on yours and where did you get it? Trying to get setup as good as I can I'd like to throw a decent cam in. Thanks guys. With current mods I'm at 450 hp and 485 tq

Keep that pulley, put in a good blower cam and you'll really have a fun fast ride.

Meth might be your next mod/friend due to the hot/humid enviroment you live in.

A NNBS hex would help also with a mix of distilled water and waterwetter, this is a proven 10* drop in IAT's.

Dimensions are twice as tall as the stock maggie truck h/e, same thickness and width. I think my IAT's cruising are about 20 over ambient, and 40 over after a 5-7 second WOT run (114 when it was 75 outside after a 7 second run).

I did, but Frozen Boost has some good ones too (for a lot less). Didn't know that at the time. The one I have requires some trimming of the back side of the grill and a fabbed lower support bracket. Tootall and I made it out of aluminum square stock from Home Depot, it was pretty easy.

Anyone use the Lep blower cam ? Can't decide on cam. Would like an all around cam I occasionally tow a 7000 lb boat so I would like down low grunt.
