Quick question.
#1
I know what superchargers and turbos do, but I have a few quick question regarding applications.
I haven't done any looking, yet, but out of curiosity, is there a supercharger for a small block with a carb that doesn't stick up through the hood? A low profile supercharger of sorts.
If not, are there other options for using forced induction with a carb?
Also, in either case, can anyone recommend a good setup?
Thanks.

magnacharger makes a MP112 kit for the gen1 SBC
procharger makes a kit and it uses a elbow/hat to feed the air to the carb
holley/weiand make a lowprofile blower.
at a car show one time i saw a 77 chevy truck and had a high-rise intake with a butterfly scoop air intake and it fit under the stock hood....
out of the choices, id go with the magnacharger, the only one thats intercooled
