Pulley change, but no boost change!!!

I doubt the throttle body is the problem. There are lots of people making big power with a 78mm tb. I don't think he reached it's limitations with that pulley change. Nevertheless, a 90mm conversion is a good mod. Also, even though he is spinning the blower faster with the pulley change, it should still create more boost than prior. If heat becomes a factor, well that affects the amount of power the engine makes, rather than the amount of boost the blower is building. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. If heat does become an issue, I would consider a methanol injection system.

Your right on both counts Tyler.
Also Stock48 is still sporting his stock 78 and he's in the mid 9's!

I am making 1# more paid but that 1# doesn't come in till around 5000 rpms. I would think I would get full boost right away.

I don't think you are going to see it build right away. Mine comes up fast but never starts to make max boost until up in the rpm range too.

While this is true, his 78mm is a blow through where as the magnacharger is not. Big diff.

tru blownchevy. something pressurized will always flow more than same thing under vacuum. thats the whole point in getting blown in the first place. lol.

Bigger TBody or better intake. Maybe as simple as cleaning your air filter. Either way, there's a restriction on the intake side.
