The cat is out of the bag...For the last year and a half I've been building and tuning this straight propane, blow through carb turboed 5.3 street/strip/work truck and I finally took it for the first shakedown run at the track! This 225k mile factory sealed motor (bone stock except intake) was gettin down with back to back 11 second passes to finish the night. Before we left we swapped tires back, put the headlight and air filter back on and hauled everything home with air and cruise on the same tune. Oh yeah, at $2.40 per gallon

I had the line crew scratching their heads, they thought for the first couple hours it was some kind of diesel!

I've always been very curious about the propane and CNG versions of these things but have never had my hands on any.

Please please post up tuning info and fuel system stuff on this thing. Awesome build man.

What kit is it, or did you build it yourself? I helped a guy tune his hybrid gasoline/CNG truck this summer and the kit was garbage. Had to build him some controllers to enable rudimentary power enrichment and dynamic timing control...the kit didn't come with any of that. I'd be curious as to how you handled your particular tune.
