Default Program for Radix blower

I just picked up a Radix blower, used, off a 04 5.3 Chevy. I am putting it on my '00 Silverado that has a LS6 6.0 in it. I am looking at purchasing SCT Pro and HP Tuners software, but wondering if any one here might have a program that I could use as a baseline? I have the programmer that came with the Radix, but the '04 is drive by wire and my '00 uses a cable.
Thanks
Danny

HPTuners works good, thats what I use. I cant speak for the other as I have no first hand knowledge of it. Also, do you have a LS6 or a 6.0 because they are different engines. Do you have a LS2 6.0?

I built a LS6 from a '03 6.0 C2500 truck block. LS6 heads and cam. Sill running the 5.3 factory program right now.

He's probably just considering it an LS6 because it has 243's and an LS6 cam. I don't know where your located in Tx, but you would be wise to take it to Nelson Performance once you get everything bolted up. Unless you have prior experience in tuning, it would probably be best to let them take care of it for you, at least initially.

ya from the sounds of it I would send your computer to nelsons for a mail order tune.
Sounds like you have a LQ4 with 243 heads and a LS6 cam.
Right?

The tune you got with the kit won't even load in your truck (512kb vs 1mb PCM's). The only thing you might be able to do is send the programmer back to Magnuson and have them build a tune for your motor/PCM, that is if they will even do that, or go mail order tuning. You could buy EFILive from me and learn to tune yourself.

You might look at the depository of either HPT or EFILive, see who has the best base line and go with that tuning software. I believe in EFILive there was a Radix 6L for the 512 PCM and there more than like one in HPT. That would give you the baseline to start. However, as I recall, Radix tunes did not have the scaling for 42lb marine injectors if you are using them. HTH

If your looking for the software with the most support, HP Tuners is the way to go hands down. There is a ton more info/tunes out there for that software. I would think the radix tunes would be scaled for the 42's since that's what they use in their kits???
