Default procharger oil

whats a good oil to run other then the procharger brand it would be nice to go to my local auto parts store and buy the oil rather then getting it from procharger

There was another thread, cant remember which forum it was on, but everyone there seemed to be running the RP synchromax fluid. I used it in mine and never had a problem.

You think that GM or Ford supercharger oil would work?

For the eaton style superchargers, I know it's about 10 bucks for an 8oz bottle from the dealership. I think its a 0w20ish kinda oil.

I run Royal Purple XPR 20w-50 in mine.

no clue i think its a 0w20 its really light weight almost like vegetable oil

Royal Purple is snake oil. Over rated and i dont trust it, especially their trans oil; seen to many go bad after using it.

I've never been a big fan of RP I've always liked mobil 1 myself
