What size stall have you already installed? What are your goals? Do you tow often? All relevant for a good decision.

I would go with the magnacharger with a 2800 stall and your goals... however, I just ordered a procharger lol

Heres what you need Magnuson blower, FLT LVL 5, Long Tubes, Full exhaust, Y pipe, Good Tune, LPE GT2-3 z06 springs and hardened pushrods. Limited slip and 3 sets of tires a year. So get the CC out and start ordering. MP112 or 122 are cheap if you got a money tree go for the TVS.

This is my current set up and its just BAD @ss. you will think you are driving a Corvette

Most here believe that's a myth. Once you put load on that procharger, it's gonna make boost and you'll be making more power than stock....even at 2500 rpms. It wont be like a magnacharger, but it wont be stock either.

Better is subjective. The magnacharger makes full boost early whereas the procharger builds boost up to redline.

A maggie will make more boost at a lower rpm, throttle %.. My procharger will make almost 4 psi at a light push of pedal.. I have said this before, the procharger will make boost at a lower RPM(like gmctrk) said. It is under a load.. If you opt for a bigger verter, the procharger will be a great choice.. TVS, if you have a huge pocky boook.. Either way, I will prob never run another blower other then my procharger.. At WOT this thing is just plain nastey.. They got a bad rep on this site, but are slowly starting to make there reputation better since more people are showing up or deciding to give them a chance.. Alos the prochager is easier on parts, as it isn't a violent jump in boost, still pulls a raped ape. You add a cam, get set up, the good old procharger will set you right in the 12 sec range..
