When I ran 4" exhaust wrap covered aluminum tubing from the head unit to the OEM fitler location, I saw about a 10 degree drop in AIT's but it cost me about 1/2 lbs of boost (dropped from 10 to 9.5).
Sounds about right. You will have to run a 4.25" to stay down around 10lbs. The nice part is you won't have any issues with belt slip.

yeah currently have stock cam and i em not running meth. thinking about doing the e85 conversion but not sure cause there are only 2 stations in town here that sell it and they are on the other side of town.

so would you guys take the 10 degrees over the 1/2 pound of boost?

I think you should look into meth or larger injectors because with the cam you might have a problem with running lean.To run mine I needed 72 #er's and an 044 pump[255 intank couldn't keep up] but this was without meth.I know you are going for less boost but it will be tight with your injectors.

you are correct when i do my cam swap im getting 60#ers for sure. what injectors will i need and are they plugg and play or will i need to splice. i rather not have to splice if possible.

SRT10KLLR sells 60# Multech injectors that are plug and play. You can go with other injectors, they will be a little cheaper but you will have to splice the wiring.
