Default ProCharger fuel pump questions...

ProCharger guys,

Do you hear your frame mounted ATI supplied fuel pump running when key is switched on but engine not started?

Do you hear it continue running after ignition is cut off, but before opening door?

Have you replaced it with either another of same or a different pump all together?

I heard mine from installation right up until it went out on me last year. I had probably 70k miles on it at that point. I had it replaced with another from ATI and I believe that this shop wired it differently for me so it would not continue running. I was told by ATI that even if it was wired so that it continued running as an accessory, that with the return fuel system and closed injectors, it would not be a problem.

Never hear mine unless I put my ear next to it while running. Only hear it when it kicks on when the key is turned to "on" before starting. Have mine bolted to the frame channel with rubber grommets to isolate it.
