If that's the case do the 408 and run the 88. It will be a really fun pump gas street setup.

Wow... PT88s are "too small"?

What, is everyone building 8 second trucks now?

If Parish8 still owned his blue truck it'd be #3 on the FTL -- and, I think the fastest truly streetable truck on the list (my opinion of what's streetable). He ran a PT88 before going to twins and didn't get much faster with twins. 10.03 as I recall and would have gone faster with a fuel system upgrade I believe.

Been there, done that, the tee-shirt sucks

Honestly, stop before you have a 300k build going

At one point, I was going to change my rear axle to a 14 bolt while my 4L80E was being build. Before I knew it (had some parts back order) I had:
1) lowered the truck 7/5
2) put 3 piece forged wheels on
3) decided to fab my own rear mount twin kit
4) spec'd and manufactured custom rear brakes (floating rotors)
5) all kinds of custom fab work for the trans, drive shaft, etc.
6) custom polished a vic jr and 90mm TB and set that up...

Really, stop yourself before you go crazy Take it from someone who knows.

All I wanted to do was keep my DoD from getting stuck in 4 cylinder mode! Then it went so far as to getting blown...can't say I regret it though lol.

well so far this went from plans of a 5.3L w/ rod bolts a set of prc stage 3 heads, cam and nitrous
to
408ci
BIG turbo
4l80e
dual 255's
80# injectors
and the list keep going and going...

i have a dangerous mind... cost me lots of money...look at my 4 wheeler (since i have started my truck build)
NOTICE HOW MANY DIFFERENT TIRE/WHELL COMBO's...lol
